Original - mixed media on 18 x 24" canvas - beautifully framed in a gold/copper frame.

This piece was completed in 2024 and was inspired by my niece who did competitive dance for many years.

As a painter that specializes in a fairly high degree of realism, this was really abstract for me. What can I say, I'm trying to loosen up.

I have included text, some dance quotes, some expressive words about dance, and even a clip from a Wikipedia article about "Lyrical" dancing. You can't really read them unless you are up close but I thought it would be fun.
