This piece was completed in 2025 and was inspired by a friend’s trip up north to Bathurst, New Brunswick, over the holidays. The views were outstanding and I particularly liked this scene with her cat Charlie looking out at the birds in the snow covered yard.

There is nothing more refreshing that stepping out onto the deck, just after a snow fall, holding a piping hot cup of coffee in your hand. The blue sky, the fresh air. You just know, it’s going to be a great day.
